Description

A 22-karat gold lappa choker with a wide, crescent-shaped collar built from rows of tightly packed cylindrical gold tubes and beaded borders, punctuated by two openwork honeycomb/floral medallions on either side and a raised central repoussé floral and leaf motif atop a fan-shaped base. The lower edge erupts into a dense straight-cut fringe of flat parallel gold bars forming the signature lappa tassel — a powerfully architectural, gemstone-free piece emblematic of Bengali bridal goldsmithing at its most bold.
